- A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
3. Our response
Upon receipt of a compliant notice, we may remove or disable access to the material referenced, and/or terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, consistent with applicable law. We may forward your notice to the user who posted the material, where required or permitted.
4. Counter-notification
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification that complies with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), including your contact details, identification of the removed material and its location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake, consent to jurisdiction, and your signature. We may request additional information to process non-DMCA requests.
6. Misrepresentations
Under US law, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please ensure your notice or counter-notification is accurate and submitted in good faith.
